Tornadoes again.  Not in my neighborhood, but a block from phierma and cos_x .

Airport:  closed.  Many car windows blown out.  One plane blown into the concourse building.

One major highway closed due to downed power lines.

45, 000 without power, including phierma .

Storms south of STL still working their way across the area, with more potential tornadic weather.

It's been up and down the past few days.

Church:  welcomed several new members on the equinox.  I was able to stand an egg on end; at one point we had 5 sitting up.  However, heard of 2 deaths:  one, a spiritual leader, Judi Laws, who wrote extensively about the Seven Rays, and two, the_geoffrey  's grandmother.

We had snow today.  One of the local channels referred to it as "hamster-sized flakes".  Wet and sloppy.  And it is supposed to be 70 degrees later this week.

I went shopping anyway (had the day off).  Was trying to get fabric for a project, but failed miserably.  At least the grocery shopping is done.

The weather has messed up my schedule.  I had to reschedule my acupuncture treatment, which meant I got the second stringer (my doc went out of town).  He also did my adjustment, and he doesn't do as good a job; he relies on his strength a bit much - I really need someone strong on technique, not force ( Read more... )
